Healthy Organic School Dinners are on the rise

Jamie Oliver's campaign to improve school dinners has galvanized politicians and parents. Even the prime minister has to say involved if changes are made, it's only a matter of months before British health, education and agriculture could be affected for the better. You may have seen one of the greatest revolutions that England has ever food. What we need now is a real commitment to change that, and funds from central government to get back.

In responseis why Jamie Oliver's school dinners for the revolution, the prime minister also said that school kitchens will be rebuilt and equipped so that food can be cooked dishes from scratch, while the ladies lunch offered to help culinary skills to create them appetizing menu.

From autumn 2006, in the school meals in England are now excluded crisps, chocolate, fizzy drinks and meat of low quality. School children will be served at least two servings of fruits and vegetables at every mealand fried foods will be limited to two servings a week. Meals high in salt and fat in school meals are also prohibited.

From the perspective of parents, many people want better school meals for their children junk food and swap for organic and local fresh food, but there were no photos in national newspapers, some parents go to dinner in types of schools and out, and my burger was, chips and other unhealthy foods and thengive their children and others. This is clearly to undermine the efforts that Jamie Oliver and the Prime Minister to do in school, they have to wear a uniform and conform to certain rules, why can not eat that are green and healthy eating? When they go home they come to support and what they want to eat. We do not intend to kill to eat healthy meals, they accounted for 5 per week is it? Wake up! It also reminds me of Ian Wright (Arsenal famous ex-football player in the United Kingdom) The most recent TV programAbout healthy children, has done his best to engage them in order to reduce obesity and, if he had to fight, he asked parents to set a good example ... .. many of them denied!

Back to healthy eating again ... Soil Association, is to promote the use of organic and local produce in school cafeterias by adding a "Food for Life workshop for interested schools. There is a one-day workshop for key stage two pupils. It Education is managed by the Soil Association Department. The workshop offers children a chance for a healthy diet, consider local and organic food through the theme of choice.

Schools must also provide information on best practices for obtaining healthy food for school meals. The schools continue to improve the nutrition of children and their understanding of food through visits and classroom activities. Would not it be wonderful if all schools could have gardens so that children can see that> Eating is not only the packets or appear magically in stores?

Encouraging children at home, eat healthy, why not soup with organic vegetables, while their children their own smoothies in the blender with yogurt or milk and fresh fruit or frozen to be done. I bet that the children can taste the difference. All children in my family love the organic yogurt, organic dried fruit and snacks they have.
